Emerald Resources NL is an Australia-based gold exploration and mining company. The Company’s four operating segments include mine operations, exploration and evaluation of mineral reserves, mine development and others. It operates the Okvau Gold Deposit in the Mondulkiri province of eastern Cambodia and is exploring, with the view to developing other prospective gold projects in Cambodia. Its interest in its Cambodian Projects covers a combined area of over 1,428 square kilometers (km2). Okvau Gold Mine is located over 275 km north-east of Cambodia’s capital city of Phnom Penh in the province of Mondulkiri. Its 100% owned Memot Gold Project is located over 100 km southwest of the Okvau Gold Mine and has approximately 107 km2 of a highly prospective area for gold exploration. The Company’s Australian operations are focused on the North Laverton Gold Project’s tenements, in the Dingo Range greenstone belt.
