Comet Ridge Limited is an energy company which is focused on the development of natural gas resources for the strained east coast Australian market. It has tenement interests and a suite of prospective projects in Queensland. The Company’s flagship gas project comprises the Mahalo Gas Hub assets located in central Queensland, 240 kilometers to the gas demand center of Gladstone. The Mahalo Gas Hub assets comprise the Mahalo JV Gas Project, which is an appraised coal seam gas project with certified gas reserves and petroleum leases, and the Northern Mahalo Projects, which comprise Mahalo North, Mahalo East, and Mahalo Far East. It holds an acreage position of 4,742 square kilometers (km2) in the eastern part of the Galilee Basin. The Galilee Project has various prospects, including ATP 743, ATP 744, and ATP 1015. Its Mahalo North includes a project area of 360 km2. Its Mahalo East includes a project area of approximately 97 km2. Mahalo Far East includes a project area of 404 km2.
