Canadian consumer goods company P2P Group (CSE: PPB / FSE: 3QG) has appointed Yojee founder Ed Clarke to the role of chief executive officer, effective immediately.

He replaces current P2P chief executive officer Simon Cheng, who will remain a director of the company.

Mr. Clarke has considerable experience in hyper-growth technology platforms gained through his years with logistics software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Yojee.

He was considered to be pivotal in positioning that company as an industry leader in landside logistics platforms, which have since been adopted by 4 of the world’s 10 largest logistics companies.

Mr. Clarke is renowned professionally for his ability to drive growth and foster a culture of innovation. He has scaled companies publicly on the Australian Securities Exchange to the ASX 300 and All Technology Index.

He has also been involved with multiple successful private firms in the technology space.

He joins P2P Group at a critical stage of its evolution as it continues to push the boundaries of products and technologies in North America’s healthcare industry.

Market expansion

P2P director Steven Pearce said Mr Clarke would be the “ideal fit” to spearhead the group’s expansion into the healthcare and smart home technology markets.

“Ed’s track record of building companies through innovation and strategic growth makes him the perfect leader for P2P at this pivotal time in our own development,” he said.

“His leadership style aligns seamlessly with our mission and we are confident he will be able to elevate our company to new heights.”

Next phase of growth

Mr. Clarke said he was honoured to be leading P2P Group through the next phase of its growth.

“Our mission to create smarter, safer spaces resonates deeply with me, and I am eager to contribute to the company’s continued success,” he said.

New website

This week, P2P Group unveiled a new website (www.inturai.com) for its recently-acquired software development platform Inturai, offering an in-depth look at its innovative technology solutions.

Inturai targets improvements in the cost of care and patient outcomes in consumer environments such as nursing homes by capturing important data such as activity, vital signs and health issues.

P2P Group acquired the platform in July and is at the forefront of transforming health and safety with advanced technology solutions that create smarter, safer spaces. Serving industries such as healthcare, smart homes, and industrial facilities, P2P Group is dedicated to bringing peace of mind to everyone, everywhere.
